Why We Made Starlux

Bedtime shouldn't be a battle. But for so many families, it is, kids scared of the dark, minds racing right when they're supposed to be winding down. Sleep is one of the biggest struggles of childhood, and it affects the whole household when it goes wrong.

We started Starlux because we saw the same story play out again and again: a child who won't settle, a hallway light left on out of habit, a parent doing one more lap of "just checking in." None of that is anyone's fault, kids are wired to notice the unfamiliar, and an empty dark room is about as unfamiliar as it gets.

So we built something to change what that room feels like. Our Galaxy Atmosphere Projector fills the ceiling and walls with slow-moving stars and soft colour, turning a plain bedroom into somewhere that feels safe, calm, and a little bit magical. It's not about distraction, it's about giving kids something gentle to focus on instead of the dark, so their thoughts can slow down instead of race.

Built to fit real life

Every projector runs off a simple USB-C cable, so it isn't tied to one room or one plug. Plug it into a wall adapter at home, a power bank on a road trip, or a laptop at grandma's house, the same calming glow travels wherever your child needs it. Staying somewhere new is often when kids need it most, and we designed Starlux to go with them.
